Floaters in the eye are caused by liquid deposits in the vitreous jelly of your eye. When the light passes through the retina, the shadows cast from the liquid deposits make it look like those deposits are little floating objects in your vision. They can look like little squiggly lines, an “O” or a “C.” No two floaters will look the same. You may have one in one eye, but not in the other. They are not harmful, but you will want to be checked by your ophthalmologist anyhow. Floaters in the eye usually disappear and they are not painful, just cause an annoyance. There are no medications for it. by: Best Eye Vitamin |
